General FAQs

1.     When and how can I order?

You can order via this website at any time. E-mail messages are often checked outside business hours and responded to regularly. Feel free to contact us with any questions.

2.     What payments do you accept?

All our online payments are processed securely through PayPal. Through this we accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Debit Cards) or a PayPal account.  Please note that you do NOT have to have a PayPal account to pay using a credit or debit card. These will be processed securely through PayPal.  We also accept direct bank transfers – when you select this option our bank details will be emailed to you with your order confirmation.

3.     How soon will my order be sent?

If you order before 11am (Mon – Fri) your order will shipped that same day.

4.     How long will my parcel take to arrive?

Depending on whether you have chosen regular or express post, your delivery time will vary. If you are within the express post network in Australia your express post parcel should be delivered the next business day.

All parcels are sent with Australia Post. To see how long your parcel will take to arrive check out the Australia Post website.

5.     Do you have an actual store that we can come to?

No, we are an online store only.

6.     What are your shipping rates and returns policies?

Check out our shipping and  returns page for all info regarding this.

 7.     Do you ship internationally?

Yes, but our shopping cart is not setup to reflect international shipping costs at this stage. You can choose either regular or express international post by letting us know in the comment box at the cart checkout. Once we receive your order we will email you the actual shipping costs for international parcels which will be calculated by taking into account the weight of your parcel and your destination so as to offer you the fairest price for your order. You may cancel your order if the shipping costs are too high – just reply to the email we send you.

8.     Can I change my order?

Yes you can, provided it has not already been packed and shipped. We are pretty speedy at turning around orders though as we like to get your goodies to you asap. So shoot us an email as soon as you can after placing your order and we will sort it out for you.

 9.     Do you wholesale your products?

Yes, we do offer wholesale prices on the Faceplant Dreams range in which we are the exclusive Australian distributor.  Please email for more information.

We do not offer wholesale or bulk rates on any of our other products.

Gift Card FAQs

1.     How do you send the gift card?

We’ll send the gift card by email to you or your recipient.

2.     Are gift cards transferrable?

Yes, gift cards can be transferred to another person. There is no restriction to who redeems the voucher so, it is important to keep it in a safe place. Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of the issue date.

3.     What can I spend my gift card on?

Spend the gift card on any merchandise within The Gilded Pear online store.

4.     Does the gift card expire?

Yes. Gift cards must be redeemed within 12 months of the issue date.

5.     Can I get a refund?

We don’t issue refunds so, treat the gift card like cash. If you think you’ve made a mistake in your booking, contact us as soon as possible.

6.     Can I pay with credit card?

Yes. Pay by credit card selecting the PayPal option at the cart checkout.

7.     Do I need a PayPal account?

No. You don’t need to have a PayPal account to pay with your credit card.

8.     What if the gift card has expired?

Your recipient must redeem the gift card by the expiry date. If they attempt to redeem it after the expiry date the full value of the gift card will be forfeited.

9.     Can I spend more than the value listed on the gift voucher?

Yes. When you enter your gift card code and click APPLY COUPON, the value of the gift card will be deducted off the cart total. However, if your cart total is less that the gift card value you will forfeit any remaining balance.
